The reveal trailer revealed how the switch can be played in different ways, meaning on the go or at home. Virtually no one was confused by it.

The Wii U had a ton of problems, including price and terrible marketing. The Switch already seems to have fixed those problems. No one thinks it's an add-on for the Wii or Wii U. It looks to be the most competitively priced Nintendo system since the Wii. And it's 'switch' feature is tailor made for the Japanese market. How it does in the West remains to be seen. It will capture a lot of the 3DS crowd just by being a Nintendo 'handheld,' and having a glut of great games year 1 will help it immensely, especially compared to the drought of early 2013.
