If you seriously want to drivel down an argument to "Ya but it's still better than the other mediocre products that others support" than sure, have at it with Gears 4. But lowering your expectations because it's a game in a pile of worse games doesn't really amount to much other than less crappy crap. What's the point about having a conversation about a game if you're defense of it is just "well...it's not AS BAD". You can shut down anything with that. If I didn't like Gears of War I wouldn't care so much about Gears of War 4's issues. But if you enjoy the game applause to you. There is certainly some great things about it. But the game in general? A step up from Judgement, and not much more. 

I'm arguing its a great product, period. Everything it offers and how well it executes it makes it one of my favorite games in years.

I'm not gonna argue its the best game in the series, but I felt its at par with previous titles and in some ways better.

I'm not saying you don't see it as a great product, what I'm saying is, if you're saying "well the low amount of content compared to previous games is acceptable because it's better than other games currently on the market" it's still basically the same argument as "well it might be lackluster, but at least it's not as shitty as everything else on the market". Does that mean you think the game is shitty? No, but it means you're basically using the same kind of argument conceptually.

I don't even remember why we started talking. It's not like i'm going to hunt down everyone who enjoys the game. There's definitely some great things about the game and some enjoyable parts. I just don't think there's SOOOO much content. Honestly if I played more games this generation maybe I would appreciate it more, or maybe i'd appreciate it less. But I don't feel like the content provided is worth appreciating, especially since there was no real point for a microtransaction system.
