I'd be surprised if it was able to direct port. But the rumors are, it's still rather easy to port to and that's the most important thing for Switch. It'll take a bit of work to port but nothing that will necessarily need an entire team to do a port. That's what I'm thinking.

let be real.

Indie sized games will get ported.  Old 6th 7th gen games will get easily ported.

But there is no porting a big aaa games, they would have to make it from gorund up for the switch.

I don't think big AAA games are what Switch is aiming to support anyways. Nintendo is a company that started in Japan, in Japan consoles, PS4 included, are selling rather poorly. So it makes so much sense for Nintendo to make a device that is a bit weak to be called a console and too powerful to be called a handheld, it's  hybrid. It'll have aspects of both. It'll be able to handle most Japanese 3rd party games which are the only games that really sell on Nintendo consoles in Japan and in the USA. Anybody who thinks people are going to ditch PS and XB to play Gears of War or Uncharted on Nintendo platforms is insane. Those fans are set for the generation.

That being said, games don't have to be built from the ground up if they're developed in Unreal or Unity or any other engines that Switch supports. And I stand by the fact that AAA western games wouldn't sell on Nintendo consoles anyway.
