In 4 years after we've been to war with China for the last 3 years and some of you are drafted and some of you are gone, lets look at the Obama administration again. Seem like every time we get a republican president we get thousands of people dead. I doubt this trend will be broken with a president who can be provoked so easily.

Actually, no. Historically speaking, throught the last 100 years, Democratic presidents had been involved in more wars than Republican presidents. During World War I, we had Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat. During World War II, we had FDR, a Democrat. During the Korean War, we had Truman, a Democrat, though Eisenhower got into office just as that war was ending. Lyndon Johnson, a Democrat was President when the Vietnam conflict heated up. Richard Nixon, a Republican got into office after the conflict started. Ford, Carter, and Reagan were not involved in any major conflicts, although the US did interfere in the affairs of other countries. Bush 41 got the US involved with Iraq, though that conflict lasted mere weeks. Clinton got America involved in Bosnia, although that is considered a NATO effort. Then we had Bush and Obama, who were responsible for killing more people than most other American Presidents over the last half century.
