Actually David Bowie fans were pretty active then because he released his biggest masterpiece in decades just few days before his dead, few years ago he also released a surprisingly good album very well received by critics and people so he was totally contributing to the musical scene when he died, Bowie was for me, by far, the saddest death of an icon ever, few artist of the last century have marked the current culture and my mind as much as he did.
