In foreign countries, RIS actors conducted damaging and/or disruptive cyber-attacks, including attacks on critical infrastructure networks.
35 Russian diplomats have been expelled from the US, according to a statement from State Department over their involvement in hacking U.S. political groups in the 2016 presidential election. Also announcing the closing of two Russian compounds, in New York and Maryland.
