thank you very much, and yes the police was being very helpful and now I feel bad because I was one of those "fuck the police" individuals 

No problem. I was like that too until last year we had a snow storm and my car got stuck and I ws stranded. Off duty deputy gave me a ride to a gas station. There are some bad ones, but also some realy good ones out there!
