I have no problem with either of these so called issues. I don't want to pay for mobile data would rather use wifi or offline gaming and as long as I can use usb power banks I have no issue. I have 2 20,000mAh powerbanks that should be ample for the longest gaming sessions when travelling and no usb or mains available.
