How is this comparable?
I gave him advice and told him he may (Being nice here) have exaggerated. I also gave him a different outlook from how the girl's friend might have seen it.
No need for a billion snarky replies, as most of the people here have been posting. Also it may have been an immature response on his part, for all we know he may have already realised that he was wrong and is putting himself down already.
