So mediacreate numbers are delayed a few days but if they are similar to Famitsu then ps4 is now at 4.03m for the year. Add in the final week and you're looking at 4.2m+.

According to Famitsu it has just beaten ps3's peak year.

Best PS4 Year : 1.79 million
Best PS3 Year : 1.74 million

I think this proves the doom mongers wrong especially on gaf. Ps4 ain't dead in Japan. In fact it is quite healthy. Software sales are also similar to ps3 launch aligned except they're spread out over more titles instead of a select few. Ps4 has a long healthy life ahead of it in Japan.
