No thanks. I'm extremely pleased games opting to run in 1080p nowadays. I have a 1080p HDTV and have played at that resolution since I picked up my PS4 couple years back. Anything less hinders my enjoyment of games ranging from a little to a whole lot, depending on what the game is. If you really believe in this and think you would like it more, sure, go for it and the more power to you. Go into the PS4's Settings and go to the Sound and Screen to select it. Go and set it to 720p and you can even limit the color if you desire. Now go and play the games you think would benefit from lesser resolutions. I've tried this and REALLY don't think it's more enjoyable even if what I was seeing would have a higher fps.
