Look at it this way. If 1 in 10 break what is the chance that you will get 3 of them that do so? 1 in 1000. Many of them can overheat by stuff you don't expect them too. Leaving them on top of the t.v. can fry them. Now I won't argue that Xbox 360's breaking down is the owners fault, but if you have that many break down and they all break in the same space well then it means that it is probably your fault. And to Origin: Thanks for calling me a idiot, you made my day. |
Ah, so space must be my culprit...oh, wait.
As you can see I own a lot of electronics, It's kind of a hobby. I know how to take care of them. That PS2 is a launch console(but has since been replaced with a PS3). Maybe you should stop trying to make excuses for MS's shotty craftsmanship. EDIT - I'll do you one better. Here is a picture of my gamertag. |
It's funny that you say you know how to take care of electronics because, well, you don't. It's already advised that you shouldn't have a 360 in an entertainment center like that (but everyone does anyway) but yours is fairly confined right there. Your vents have things fairly close on both sides and your 360 just doesn't have a lot of room to breathe. You would probably be better off putting the 360 on the bottom left and not have your receiver centered. |
Nice attempt to divert blame. It is an open air "entertainment center". The 360 has 5" on the left, 6" on the right, 7" above, and over a foot of open air free space behind it. I maintain a 70-72 degree room temperature. I mean, I know the 360 is fragile but does it really need more than that?...The answer is no. The fact still remains that it is a poorly built device.
