Overwatch.
While I loved TF2, the game kinda left a sour taste in my mouth due to some issues I had with the competitive side of that game.
Overwatch reminded be a lot of TF2, with a bunch of character classes and the cartoonish art style, so I just dismissed the game (that and I never really played a Blizzard game before.)
I didn't try the open beta, but some friends were making a big deal about the game, saying it's one of the best shooters they've ever played.
I bought the game near launch, and now it's probably in my top 10 games of all time.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
