Gaaaddaamn the gameplay feels so good.

You shouldn't increase difficulty by compromising control! They're making the same mistake of Ninja Gaiden. Games can be difficult WITHOUT compromising the player's control. A few examples are Onimusha, Devil May Cry, and Souls series, all of which use Lock-On. Square/PG needs to take notes from From Software. You can achieve higher difficulty by adding a stamina bar and/or making the time interval shorter for dodging (as it stands, you can dodge most attacks, bar projectiles, by spamming R2) They're ruining this game with stupid design decisions! |
I agree they can increase the difficulty without hampering with controls but it doesn't need a stamina meter, not everything need to be Souls-ified. Now that would be a stupid design decision, a boring "me too!" approach. Pls stop suggesting ideas how to make the game worse.

The different perspectives is refreshing and unique, it feels very natural to go from free form 3D to top down view. They also last like a few minutes, this game is 3rd person, not a mash up of different genres.
