I see no reason for Sony to drastically price drop the PS4 anytime soon. The goal is to make a profit while building a sustainable platform. They're doing that already without needing to take extreme measures. World-wide, they've got Microsoft beat. In North America, nothing they do will make Xbox die off, as Microsoft has the resources to match any move Sony makes. I just don't see the need.
