I would adjust my list to this, but overrall I agree. Rogue One only had the best sound, special effects and cinematroghraphy ...obviously because it just came out. Awakens was a better Star Wars movie with the point of continuing the story and actually was interesting all the way through. Rogue One is just a pointless milking of the franchise. It literally had no point and told a story that didn't need to be told.
I was not impressed with anything in the movie, no, not even the end which was not half as good as Anakin turning Sith in episode 3. The prequels had a much better story and delved deep into the Jedi culture and morals/beliefs. Rogue One had no memorable battles (episode 1 had a much better ending space battle that still holds up today and the chatter between the pilots was very immersive, plus Vader showed his pilot skills) and was also more satisfying.
The end of Rogue POne was slopping with them just forcing action and the whole plot with them just following the woman (can't remember any character names) was bad. So she gives a speach and they just trust her? OK lol. Only people not fans of Star Wars would love it or fans of hyped movies with special effects. I only put it above episode 1 because of the special effects aging poorly and Jar-Jar Binks. Kid Anakin was better than any character in Rogue One.
