Is lack of gender/racial diversity valid criticism?

It doesn't matter that much to me, I'm just saying a little diversity wouldn't hurt, not when the actual demographics of game buyers is fairly diverse. 

I hear ya on that.  I may not like playing as a female, but I have no problem playing as a black, asian, white, russian, Hispanic, non-human, etc as long as the character is male.  That is just how my mind works for some reason lol.

 

But yes, racial diversity is always welcome.  There are MANY different races amongst gamers, and while race has no affect on me, it could affect someone else the same way females characters do me.
