Your friends are not the norm, I only see people constatly switching to PC, I'm glad you are happy with your PS4 but many of us saw:

- "Free" internet for multiplayer
- Huge catalogue with eternal retrocompatibility
- Steam sales  (that can make a 60$ game be like...15?)
- Better performance, graphics and scalability options
- Upgradable hardware
- Huge Mod scene
- Almost every multiplatform 
- Keyboard and mouse configuration (the best by far to play any first person game, simulator, RTS or graphic adventure)
- Good exclusives (Civilization VI, Cities Skyline, Pillars of Earth, Grim Dawn...)
- Best and most varies selection of indies (including exclusives diamonds like Owlboy or Undertales)

Is hard to come back from that imo, but everyone is happy with different things.

Ps4 sales say otherwise.  It's such a God like experience in such a small, convenient and cheap box.  For those who want to spend $250 or less on their machine the ps4 is just too good to turn down.  

 

And it will only get better with the ps5.
