I only know heard about 2 of those games.

Actually would be a fun game, to guess how many top scoring pc games you can recognize lol.

Can`t the same be said for consoles? Indie games often seem to be some of the top scoring games on those too.

Not really, usually those indies also release on PC as well, often earlier.

Some people may get defensive but it is what it is, there's no harm in pointing out the majority of the high ranking games are indies. It doesn't add nor take away their quality. The barrier of developing PC games is really low, the lower the barrier the more games it gets, thus relatively more games with high scores. Same with mobiles btw.
