No need for such a dramatic example that is so out of touch with the reality of what he actually said.

He said he doesn't think the deals move the industry forward. He didn't say anything about Sony. He didn't say MS doesn't do them, has never done them, or won't do them in the future. He has even since provided further clarification to help people like yourself.

Nothing hypocritical about it :)

How is that a dramatic example? I actually changed the example I was going to use to make it -not- seem dramatic.

And okay... So he says the deals don't move the industry forward... Does it anyway. He's either a hypocrite or an idiot for shooting himself in the foot by intentionally keeping the industry back. Your pick.

But people like me? Please, elaborate.

Or he might feel he has to do them at one point or another because the competition does. Again, having to do something doesn't mean you have to like it or agree with it. Sometimes that's just business. Or maybe you're right and he's just a stupid idiot, lol.

By people like you I am simply saying people mistaken on what he is saying. You are applying too much emotion to it, hence your ridiculous smoker example. Either way neither of us are going to sway the other so enjoy the last word :)
