These both seem a little hyperbolic, no?

Just in the last month PSVR has gotten Holoball, The X-Wing mission, I Expect You To Die, Surgeon Simulator, and Lethal VR. That's more than one good game a week, and the systems only been out for like 10 weeks and has like 60 something games and experiences. Plus there's still a ton of games already announced for 2017.

Dying faster than the Vita? Has a system ever gotten so much support as fast as PSVR?

It's not dying, but I do feel the quality of releases has gone down since release. Surgeon simulator hardly works if reviews are to be believed, and the others are fun yet also pretty basic and short. The quantity of releases is fine, yet quality isn't all there. From those games up there only I Expect you to die offers a polished quality game, however it can be beat in 45 minutes. It still kept me busy for 3 nights to get all the objectives and is certainly the best release in the last few weeks.

Anyway what we have so far in reverse order:
- Jaunt (movie experiences)
- Fruit Ninja
- Lethal
- Rollercoaster Dreams
- Fat city
- Hatsune Miku 3rd stage
- Starship disco
- I expect you to die
- Perfect
- Tethered divine edition (price raised)
- Wherewolves within
- Surgeon simulator
- O! My Genesis planet Dago
- Crystal Rift
- How we soar
- Pinball FX2 (+season pack, +walking dead table)
- Holoball
- NBA 2K experience
- Proton pulse plus
- VirZoom arcade
- Space rift Episode 1
- The martian experience
- Time Machine
- Hatsune Miku 2nd stage
- Eagle Flight
- Robinson: The journey
- COD: Jackal Assault experience
- O! My genesis
- Hypervoid
- Super Hypercube demo
- Carnival games
- Kismet
- Weeping doll
- World war toons beta
- Tethered
- Windlands
- Pixel gear
- Hatsune Miku (demo, 1st stage, season pass)
- Sports bar
- Ace Banana
- Battlezone
- Driveclub
- Gunjack
- Headmaster
- Here they lie
- Job simulator
- Keep talking and nobody explodes
- Loading human: Chapter 1
- Rez Infinite
- RIGS
- The assembly
- The brookhaven experiment
- Waddle home
- Batman Arkam experience
- Rise of the tombraider experience
- 100ft robot golf
- Alumette (short movie)
- Eve Valkyrie
- Harmonix Music
- Hustle kings
- Invasion! (short movie)
- Littlestar cinema
- VR Demo disc
- VR worlds
- Superhypercube
- Stardust Ultra
- Playroom
- Thumper
- Tumble
- Until Dawn
- Wayward sky
- Within (movie app)

And there's 30 free Trackmania Turbo levels, Vev: Vivo ex Viva and SW Rogue squadron DLC.

It's certainly not hurting in quantity, yet there were a lot bigger releases nearer launch. As I already said, it's probably low budget titles taking advantage of the quiet period following the launch. Anyway I played more Thumper last night and getting more tempted to get Until dawn after all.
