Very nice list. I don't think I have any debates with any of the key points.
I would like to point out your working regarding point 7, "...and not releasing a system that used a full size CD until 2006" is erroneous in that they began using discs in 2001 and the Wii uses DVD's, not CD's. It's just a nit pick inconsequential to the merits of the overall topic.
