Because `Paki` is a derogatory racist term. If people want to identify him by his origin then they should use the correct term `Pakistani`.

Since when did Paki become a Racist slur and what does Paki mean since it's suddenly offensive?
So if i meet a guy named William and i personally decides to short down his name for simplicity sake, like Will or Liam, am i discriminating William?
Since when wasn't it okay to use a shorter-term of a fairly long name? unless you can tell me why Paki-stani can't be shortened in half without it being Racism..  I wouldn't be insulted if a colored person called me Norski or Norska, or is that okay cuz i am white?

Also, There is no Pakistanian Race, it's Arabs and the arabs countries consist of over 10 Nations under 10 different Nation Names.. Unless Paki is translated into something that oppress the Arabs as a Race, which it does not.. It's closer to Discrimination, but then again, what makes the term Paki discriminating..
