You missed the bolded part, search for "iOS store vs Playstore revenues" on google and see for yourself
There's no denying that Android is the king of marketshare, there are other metrics that Apple still wins though. "Revenues from the App store" is one of them. The rest of my post is also correct, Google's Gboard just made its debute on the Android store, I've been using it for a while on my iPhone. I'll be using it now on my Android phone as well. I also enjoy using Motion stills, an app by Google that's exclusive to iOS.
The point I am trying to make is, iOS userbase are considered "power users" when it comes to using & paying for Apps, so with that price tag, the best market for the game is iOS, the Playstore is a big market as well, but it's not the biggest as superchunk implied. iOS is also cheaper to develop for, since you are mostly developing for one version of the OS, a console-like development environment for Nintendo and games developers in general.

1. Apple users are not seen as "power users" or "power buyer"..that is apple marketing that has you.
2. Nope didnt miss it...Apple hasnt been revenue king since 2014-earl 2015.
did the google search and this is what i found..
https://techcrunch.com/2015/04/27/android-surpasses-ios-in-revenue-if-chinas-android-app-stores-are-combined/

1. It's not marketing that "has me", that's kinda insulting, especially when I am willing to discuss facts down to the finest details.
2. According to your link:
- iOS app store > Google's play store
- If you combine the Chinese app stores with the playstore, iOS represent around 40% of global app stores revenues despite its tiny marketshare, that can't possibly happen unless if iOS users were definitely "power buyers".
3. A genuine question, will Nintendo bother with these Chinese stores? I've never checked them out and I dunno what kind of apps they have/lack. I know Pokemon Go isn't released there yet, however.
