That's good to hear. And trust me, I have nothing against these games, I'm probably buying them both day one, but to call them masterpieces when you haven't played them is a pet peeve of mine.

Without spoilers since I haven't seen any gameplay or footage. How is the story (is it as good as P4G) and gameplay (is it like P4G)?

Understandable.

P5's story to me feels darker than previous games, because it deals with some adult themes and social issues that feel more relatable than ever. And the protagonists role in the overall story is quite different than in P3 and P4 in a way that stands out very clearly from the beginning. And I liked that, as it felt more realatable as well. The story is also presented in a less linear way. Like the murder mystery in P4, there's something similar in P5. I'm loving every minute of it. Though I haven't finished it yet.

The gameplay of P5 feels leagues above the previous games. There are more elements to combat. And being able to negotiate with enemy persona's during a fight, like you can in the mainline Shin Megami Tensei Series, has been added to P5 now, and it's a very fun mechanic.
Dungeons have been improved a lot. They aren't randomly generated (although there is a second type of dungeon that is similar to Tartarus from P3), and they're generally huge, and contain fun puzzles and platforming. And town explotration is so much more satisfying now.

Amazing to hear. I'm avoiding every thread about this game, and all footage. Really annoyed it got delayed, but as long as it's good. I mean there's Berseria coming out in Spring, so I can live with that.
