I can't see or click on the video in the OP because I'm on an iPhone which doesn't support flash but I went to YT and saw ~ this

And yes, it's obvious the dude doesn't know how to play but specifically the battle system looks like a clear downgrade to me from cyber sleuth. It also seems like he has problems even selecting an attack or what to do in combat and Idk, everything just seems to have less polish as a whole.

This is not the Digimon Story series which has the turn based battle system. Its the Digimon World series. The battle system is an updated version of the battle system from original Digimon World on the PS. Now Im almost certain you are bullshitting...You said you played Digimon World 1? It should have been obvious that it was a sequel the that game, not Cyber Sleuth (part of the world series).

I don't care if you think I'm bullshitting or not, the digimon world games came out in the 90s on Ps1 almost 20 years ago so please excuse my memory for being a little bit fuzzy since I haven't had a chance to replay them due to the fact that they never made it to PSN. I remember you had to feed digimon in the first game, I remember they could poop, I remember there was a training area with like punching bags to raise your strength, some sort of trivia challenge to increase intelligence, I remember in word 2 or word 3 you had a buggy to crawl around "domains" in that had enter and exit gates. Digimon Cyber Sleuth shares many aspects of gameplay between it and DW2 in the sense that you can go into the network, you navigate network dungeons (cyber sleuth on foot and DW2 by buggy) that have chests and whatnot with booby traps... I owned and played the first three digimon world games on ps1 (which are games I'm extremely fond of)

And coming from those, to cyber sleuth, to seeing videos of this, it looks like they fucked the combat system up. It looks unresponsive, not really intuitive and I don't like how the digimon free roam during battle with the camera angling down awkwardly on them. I probably will be passing on this one, to answer your OP for reasons stated above as well as a lack of polish (don't mind the graphics, it's more so the mechanics)
