I forced them? Wow, I must be older than Grampy. I didn't realise I was around when Scotland chose to join with England and form the UK with the Acts of Union in 1706 and 1707. Who's pretending to be in the British Empire? That was also long gone before I was born. I want Scotland to separate and so do the majority of English according to polls. It's the Scots who want to retain the union.
