I wasn't assuming. I was questioning your comment. Which, to be frank, wasn't really presented in a reasonable way.

You call Sony, a hardware manufacturer, arrogant for releasing new products... That's strange, to say the least. Shouldn't they keep releasing new products? PlayStation is one of their brands. There's nothing wrong if they use their brand to sell their products. Especially when said product is developed with 3D audio for games in mind.

In my first comment I said it shows 'slithers of arrogant Sony' and in my second I said 'lead to a path' I'm going to assume English is your first language so you might have just made a mistake. I did not say this product is arrogance I said it seems like it could lead to arrogant Sony where they can release these high end devices with cool tech that people don't really know about and expect people to buy because it's Playstation.

Using a brand to release products isn't a bad thing. But for example Apple Earpods are stupid devices and cost a lot and are an only alternative they have made for headphone users and doing that is arrogant expecting people to buy. I'm not saying it's the same as what Sony is doing here I'm just saying this COULD lead to a dark road.

PS3 was great technology, and actually was well priced given the cost of a blu ray player, but it was very expensive nonetheless and they expected people to buy because it's Playstation.

tl;dr. I'm not saying it's arrogant, it seems a little weird to have a product cost this much with a tech term most people haven't heard of and expect people to buy it.

I understood what you meant. I still don't agree nor see why arrogance should be brought up in any way. The way I see it, you're stretching it. You see something and imagine a scenario because you want to see it, or have a predisposition, for one reason or an other, to see them in this way. Not because there's anything there pointing towards them maybe eventually becoming arrogant.

This headset is a premium one by them. It isn't mandatory, it isn't forced on consumers, you can still use plenty of other alternatives. There's simply no arrogance whatsoever there.
