A circlejerk echochamber is just as bad for the gaming community at large as are toxic haters. What we need is a balance that will filter out both echochambers and haters. Removing just one of them will do us no good. But don't worry, I will always do my best to uphold this balance and I encourage people to do as well. |
Agree on that, but as well as what was said, I find it mind boggling how trying to point out the intent and the history of said eprson triggers other folk, who then proceed to gang up and form a bigger echo chamber. THat and when people scream at you to report an action, then that report isn't taken up on or looked past.

This. I can't say I'm overly fond of threads that set up unfair comparisons and try using it to steer things their way. Like I said before, you don't see me making vs threads, I don't because I know how pointless they are and how they are set up in general.
Edit: I wish that instead of having these little echo chambers, that we had a space to just be up front about someone, because I'm already an "apparent" example a few posts above, from someone who will not let it down after the last tassle, but since we cannot name names due to mdoeration, we instead have to talk like this and just "imply".
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
