Why go into threads for games/consoles you hate?

I go to say, ps4 pro vs pc threads to make sure there isn't any spread of miss-information even though I don't really like them since the comparison itself isn't fair nor is it done right.

I rarely go into threads trying to downplay a certain product. Sometimes my wording can be aggressive but only if the miss-information is that horrible. Or I go into it critizing a certain decision. I do think some people (not u) don't understand the difference between downplaying and criticizing though.

With that being said, some people do downplay frequently and those are just :T
