Good night, fellow VGChartians!

I picked up my copy of FFXV last saturday and have been playing it since then. So far so good: the gameplay is excellent, the soundtrack is memorable, the graphics are impressive (most of the time), and the story and lore are very interesting as well, but I'm having a problem with it: sometimes things are vague or not well explained (or maybe it's just me).

But yeah, since it's a bit vague/confusing, I'm still trying to figure out some key elements of the plot and lore as well. That's why I created this thread: I'm needing your help guys to figure some things out! Btw, I'm still in chapter 6. Here are some questions

-So far, the game implies that Luna is traveling around the world to meet the great six (gods?). If I got this right, she performs a ritual and then Noctis have to do something with them as well. But what is she exactly doing with them? Why is she suffering while doing it (we can see that on the flashbacks)?

- Why did Titan attack us? And why he was grateful at the ending and blessed us with some mark? I'm confused. Wasn't he supposed to be one of the great six "gods"? Which begs the question: are they good or evil? Ramuh seemed to be friendly and did not fight us.

I think that's it so far. If I remember something or if new questions appear I'll update here. Thanks in advance!

Luna is trying to awaken the astrals so they can help Noctis in ending the plague of the stars(nights getting longer and thus more daemons). Luna gets weaker the more she uses her power to summon the gods similar to how Noctis and his family gets weaker the more they use the power of the ring(and the past kings).

The astrals don't just give their powers to anybody. They must prove they are worthy of it. Leviathan herself, talks about this. They are good gods but they are not just going to give their powers just because someone is a good person.
