I don't know the history of EA and Sony. I owned a PS3 and an Xbox 360 last gen and I don't really remember any favoritism. And even if there were, why would it be any worse than Grand Theft Auto giving M$ a one year exclusive to GTAIV dlc or Call of Duty giving Xbox players first access to certain content?

Also, does Sony want EA Access? Does EA want their service on PlayStation 4? I legitimately do not know. Somebody educate me with some facts because this thread isn't doing it.

What I do know is that I'm on week two of a month long free trial and when it runs out, I'm signing up. Need For Speed franchise, Battlefield franchise, Plants vs Zombies franchise, Mass Effect franchise, Start Wars Battlefront, Unravel, Dragon Age, etc are too much to pass up for less than the price of a burger a month.

Sony claims it doesn't provide good value to it's customers.

$30 a year (which is $2.50 a month) is apparently too much for 35+ free games, a 10% discount on all EA titles, a 10 hour free trial of new games along with up to a week of early access.

It's just some PR bullsh*t because they would rather have the $30 a year go to PS+ or PS Now.

one big disadvantage on the ps4 would be they don't offer the old games, when you get EA Access on xbox you can also go and play the mass effect games, ssx, and some other xbox classics, with more being added as they become available.

Anyway, 2,50 a month and instant access to all last years sports titles, dragonage the new mirrors edge and new games being added regularly, yeah that beats the free games from PSNPlus by a landslide.

I hope they change their position on this.
