Any gen if the game is good. Anyway, if graphics are an important element, generally from late 5th or early 6th gen on (actually I mean the same period on PC, no distinct gen, but we can define the period throug console gens anyway, and PC-console multiplats were affected on PC too by console gens), particularly if 5th and 6th gen games received good graphics patches during successive gens, like Morrowind.
