Way too early to call this greatness.

A lot of question marks around games like God of War, Death Stranding, Shenmue III, and Deep Down. And games like Days Gone, Detroit, Dreams, and Horizon are coming from studios with less-than-impressive track records.

I will say I'm super pumped for Nioh, Nier, and Spider-Man. Once again third-party developers save the day.

And just to cut off any angry responses: yes, I own a PS4; yes, I've played other games by these studios; yes, I'm a real gamer despite my disagreement with you on what constitutes greatness; no, I'm not trolling. Hopefully that will reduce the number of people triggered by accidental contact with a contradictory opinion.

I very much agree with this post. So many games shown so early, a lot of which are probably 2018/delayed next year games. And judging by the first party shown, I'm not impressed either. Horizon needs to prove itself from guerilla games, and I feel media molecules gameplay has always been mediocre. The rest have come from less impressive records. And yup... most of these games I care for come from third partydevs.
