I'm doing that now with my kids since I got a pro. The base model is stil the primary. Yet I haven't found a solution for saves yet. We all played the same shared Minecraft world together, yet my kids can only load that while logged into my account where it was originally created. It doesn't show up when they start the game. I wish there was a way to transfer saves, since their progress on PvZ GW2, Terraria and other games is also tied to my account as it was the default to boot up with. A big negative a profiles if you ask me, bring back the save slots of before. Saves disappearing depending on who starts the game is very annoying.

Have you tried the good ol USB stick method to transfer saves. I think the saves of most games (apart for COD online progress) are tied to your console locally. So maybe you can try something like this to transfer saves from one console to another:

Online progress though I believe is tied per account such as in COD and other shooters which may be the issue here.

Everything copied over with the system transfer, yet the saves only show up when I start the game with the account they were created with. Maybe you can fool it with a USB stick. Copy them back with the other account signed in, worth a try.

Although hmm, doesn't look promising.

I wonder what happens when they start the game with my account in off-line mode, and I sign in with my account on the pro. My account on the base ps4 will be signed out of psn but perhaps it will let them keep playing? Or just let them play off-line, that's still a possibility I hope...
