Call me a party pooper, but I don't think porting/remastering a game qualifies it as being an 8th gen title. This seems more like a "best games I played/finished for the first time over the past few years" list.
But that aside, interesting list. It definitely seems to weigh much more on emotional impact than most I've seen.
