This is what I was getting at in my second point. If PS4 and XB1S were close, then even if Pro gave PS the 300k + lead or whatever it ends up being, it would look very concerning for PS and would prove MS has gained ground and may sit at parity with PS4 sales going forward. PS would rather keep that information behind closed doors if true.

PS may however also be working out how they want to show the numbers, broke up or all together, or potentially they are so comfortable they just dont care and dont see the need to kick MS while their down any longer.

The fact that PS4 is staying at $249 says to me that XB1 is putting up a good enough fight in NA that PS doesn't want to take any chances and is just going to keep their foot on MS's chest to make sure they stay down.

That's why I can't tell that anyone who considers a possible 300k gap not big, that is wrong! If that was without the PS4 pro launch, then 300k is surely a big discrepancy!

To be honest, for me an impressive gap would be 500k+ under these circumstances...

1m-1.3m vs 1.5m-1.8m!
