I'm not talking about ports or support though. (Although as you already pointed out, Wii U did share some games with PS4/Xbone just as Wii shared some games with PS3/360) I'm talking about the power gap.

Like wrote, Switch power compare to Pro/Scorpio will be similar like Wii U compared to XB1/PS4, just that Switch will have much more modern tech and architecture compared to Wii U and that makes difrence, but XB1/PS4 are still this gen consoles and they will remain that and gap between them and Switch will be much smaller. So point is that Switch will be in much better place on market compared to Wii and Wii U, if we talk about hardware power and capabilities.
