I think that's a big assumption to say that it takes little to no effort. Every Youtube channel starts at 0 subscribers, and you can imagine how hard it must be to gain an eventual big subscriber base starting from 0. He didn't just snap his fingers and automatically have 50 million subscribers, he had to make videos for years to finally get there, and people liked his content that he made so they subscribed.

Maybe you could argue that you feel his current videos don't take that much effort, but that's a different scenario since nobody would ever know except for him. 

He uploaded over 3k videos to youtube. I'd love to know wha efforts those who complain have made to better their lives before bashing PDP.

Another fun fact is that youtube is global, offering equal opportunities to everyone, so you can't complain about inequal opportunities and privileges. Start your own channel and upload 3k videos then complain about how your "zero efforts" brought you no money.
