Especially with such a strong Canadian Dollar right now. Since Tekken 5 DR online and the upcoming Tekken 6 are about the only games that interest me on PS3 I'm thinking a used 20GB will be suffice for my needs...Until he said that a store near his place has used 20GB for 39800yen (c$343) and 60GB for 44800yen (c$385) hmmm... I doubt I'll use up all 20GB with tekken, seriously I'm really not much into demos or other games. Wireless is pretty nice but I have no problem using wired, especially when I'm planning to play online I prefer a stable wired connection (or is wireless just as good as wired when gaming?). Secondly what exactly would I use those flashcard readers for? transfer media? backing up? Would it be useful or futureproof in anyway? It seems like a good deal that I can get a 60GB for $45 more but would I be needing it? $45 is still $45 and I can use it toward a nice PS3 joystick or something, and I want to buy PS3 as cheap as possible but then again I don't want to regret my purchase ommiting 60GB... help me decide! |
45 bucks Canadian more for a few bells anad whistles is not too bad - you should just get the 60GB version. At least you won't have any regrets about "missing the card reader" or the "extra hard space you thought you were never going to use up" (trust me, eventually you will ALWAYS up the space).
I mean, you're already going to buy the Lexus of consoles (OK, sorry Blue 3, it's a Ferrari) - might as well get the one with leather interior and CD changer, you know what I mean? It's less than 10% markup from the base unit and you are already saving a lot of money by not purchasing it from Canada.
