Not a port beg, but a franchise beg. The disappointing sales of FFXV in Japan on PS4 are supposed to translate to wild (and very unproven) success if S/E opted to go with Nintendo handhelds instead. This is of course based off absolutely nothing. OP thinks the series is better off with Xenoblade Chronicles numbers if they pulled a move like this.
Nintendo is also supposed to save traditional video gaming in Japan with the Switch. Nevermind the fact that mobile has been eating into their sales and they've joined the mobile herd themselves. Basically, reasons. This will go on for many more pages.
