FF is a WW franchise. We haven't even got the WW sales, yet people are calling this a disaster. Please. First of all, there is no guarantee that if FFXV was 3DS exclusive, it would have sold better in Japan. Thinking otherwise is just hopeful wishing. I'm sure if it sold the same, or worse, Nintendo fans would be saying, "best debut of a Nintendo FF, SE should stay." Secondly, while we don't know how well it would do in Japan, but I can guarantee you, it's WW numbers would be MUCH worse. Core FF fans outside of Japan (and probably many within Japan), do not want to play their next mainline FF on a HH with near PS2 graphical power.
