Microsoft has lost  the fight against Sony. Even if he invested in development and in research, Sony is the winner. PS4 has met more success from users and customers.

Microsoft would need  a big nadvntage on the USA and UK to make up for the Europe and Asia. Maybe they can get that with a early launcher, but I don't think that they will have 20+ millions of lead on the USA again.

Correct. The only way MS could gain a substantial lead over PS4 in the US is if they say "screw it" and market the Scorpio as a next gen console with exclusives, maybe selling it at a crazy loss as well. 360's success in America was a perfect storm of price, locking up exclusives and having a year advantage. Pubs aren't going to be too quick to turn their back on a userbase of possibly 70 mil PS4s by the time Socrpio comes out though.
