It has always been a good fit, given that Dark Souls borrows quite a bit from Zelda and Castlevania. Is going to be familiar ground for Nintendo fans and the difficulty of the game is not really NES hard. Also, the game saves everywhere so it could be very portable friendly as you don't need to get to the next "Save Point".
