A game that has a terrible camera, flooty controls and an awful framerate in some areas should never get 8 perfect scores. This is why I can't take gaming critics seriously anymore. They're just not doing their job and that is being critical. IGN posted a decent review and showed video evidence of their criticisms yet almost half the people disliked the video because it didn't correspond with the preconceived notions they had about the game. This is why many review sites are afraid to post negative reviews because of the amount of backlash they'll receive. This doesn't happen with movie critics. Gamers need to grow the fuck up. And yes, I'm aware that there are also sites that post negative reviews on purpose for the clicks, but they're a minority.

And while the story is nice, it's gameplay that should matter first. It's not like the story is on the level of Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away anyway.

(And before this turns into a console war, it happens to games across all platforms).
