3, 4 and 5 are unfair in my opinion. 3) This is happening all over the world. It's actually quite a bit of a global crisis Rice is one of the hardest hit foods, and rice is what poor people eat to survive in most countries. 4) To my knowledge English house prices have been in a rapid decline the last 5-8 months. Prices are still higher then they were a few years ago. However currently said prices are dropping back down due to the credit problems that have mostly hit the US but also hit europe a bit. 5) That's going to happen. You aren't going to be able to keep things people want away from the people who want them. The west would be better regulating the drug trade rather then trying to stop it and better educating people on just how destructive the stuff is. Though I imagine england would be worried about the reverse of what they did to China happening. It's kinda funny though, things are reversed. Instead of the mighty self sufficient Chinese Empire, it's the British, US and other countries that really don't have much they want from third worlders... other then drugs. |
Thanks for putting him right, just shows how some people dont understand the problems going on worldwide. Though it's fair to say our media (damn them) like to portray these things as British-only problems.
The falling house prices thing has been everywhere though, and it's good IMO. Just shows ignorance on his part.
