Right, I'd say its pretty future proof in terms of good looking games, especially from Nintendo. In terms of easy porting, future proofing isn't as much as problem as just whether it will be able to easily support PS4 games which are running on 3+ year old hardware. For most developers I really don't think its in their interest to butcher their games to run on the Switch. I presume exceptions will come from Japanese games, Indie games, stylised games, family or kid orientatetd titles, sports games franchises and maybe a few big hitters (COD, Titanfall, Destiny if the Switch is a big hit)
