All of this will be meaningless once we all jack into the matrix. Self driving cars and A.I. / robots doing all human jobs, all that will be left for us to do is interact via the internet.
No one will care about other people covering their faces when we are all doing so with V.R. headsets...
But yeah, people should be allowed to wear what they please, perhaps not in places like banks or rather in instances where the viewing of a face is imperative.
