The copyright thing basically breaks PS3's back up utility as well as PSN+ cloud saves. I wanted to see about putting in a bigger HDD than the 160GB one I had, but when I went to do a backup it failed because of the copyrighted saves. And since PSN+ doesn't carry those saves you basically have to suck it up and lose them.

It's total BS, because there should never be a reason to copyright save files to the extent of exerting DRM on them. They can still be copyright, in that sale or distribution is illegal, but there is no need to apply DRM. Who would sell or distribute save files anyway in a way that would harm a publishers revenues?
