They buy into it because this is what is more popular along english speaking countries, not necessarily better. People dont always have the freedom to choose to have a better product, because like i said more people speak english than japanese and other languages, and not everyone still has a Sega Saturn.

Dunno why you're now bringing languages into this discussion. The series has a following because people are interested in the MW franchise and Battletech universe in general. Same with the tabletop games as well.

You're pushing the "people don't have choice" a bit too far, yet you're still ehavily implying that it's a solid textbook fact that your dead game is the better game, yet you couldn't be more wrong based on the fact that one franhcise is dead and the other alive in various forms.

The Sega Saturn is dead Ruler, it died a long time ago and people like to live in the present and to play current games as well as those of the past, but at the end of the day, we're getting a MW5 and Gungriffon isn't coming back any time soon.

Also the thread subject, really, really has no need for Japan vs the Western world type discussions. tossing who speaks what or who who has the "superior product" has no reason to be included. Besides the thread was about MW5 anyway, not a totally different game from years past.

Mechwarrior wasnt really alive either in fact Gungrifon came to the Xbox in 2004 while there was no mainline Mechwarrior game its only now it did so.

And what has the fact if a series is dead to do with quality? I just compared Gungriffon with Mechwarrior 2 , i just questioned how can everyone overrate this game but ignore Gungriffon? I am not going offtopic here i just pointed out that a similiar game like Gunrgriffon is more deserving to be remade.
